Project Overview
This project involved the thoughtful renovation of a Nishi building apartment before the owners moved in, allowing them to shape the home around their lifestyle from the outset.
The apartment was compact, and the design challenge was to make the most of the available footprint while improving functionality and liveability. Through clever planning and custom joinery, the space was reworked to create a more flexible layout and effectively add a bedroom area within the existing apartment.
The Result
By renovating before moving in, the owners were able to start with a home that was already better suited to the way they wanted to live.
The finished apartment makes far better use of the available space and delivers a practical, design-led solution for inner-city living. It is an excellent example of how a well-planned renovation can unlock more function, comfort and long-term value within a smaller footprint.
The Challenge

The Solution
One of the most interesting parts of the project was the way the entry area was built out with custom joinery to form a bedroom zone, effectively creating an additional sleeping space within the apartment.
