The Process

Step 1 – Meet and Greet
This is a free, no obligation chat about what success looks like for you. This allows us to evaluate how to best serve you while you can assess if you feel we are a good fit for you. We can also talk through options for funding your renovation if required. Following our meet and greet, we’ll move to the next stage of assessing your renovating needs.
Step 2 – Property Assessment
We’ll examine your property and provide a current independent valuation. Through this examination, we can evaluate your potential, discuss your requirements and outlook, and come up with the most suitable renovation plan to meet your needs. As home renovation specialists in Canberra, we will suggest renovation ideas that add immediate and long-term value to your Canberra home.
Step 3 – Business Proposal
After we’ve assessed your property, we’ll prepare an initial proposal for your consideration. This proposal will outline our findings, recommendations, services, and estimated costs. If you’re happy with this initial proposal, we’ll organise final costs by following up with all of our trades and providing a formal tailored renovation plan.
Step 4 – Agreement
If you’re happy with our renovation plan, we’ll send you the contracts to sign. At this stage, we advise you to get independent legal advice from a solicitor or suitably qualified business advisor. Renovation Matters prides itself on being ethical and transparent.
Step 5 – Renovation
This is the fun and exciting part! We get to work to transform your home and unlock its true value (if selling), or to achieve your desired outcome (if staying). We use only proven and experienced service providers and tradespeople who are competitively priced. We manage the renovation and transformation of your Canberra home in its entirety.

Considering I was overseas the whole time, Kim did a great job in communicating with me and providing regular updates and pictures of work.
